UBEP-C

The UBEP-C is at the heart of the PACHOM system. It is the main device used on machinery that includes methods of detection, floods the area of safety coverage that correspond to high risk of accident by collision avoiding uncertain areas, hence focussing on safety "hot spots" with precision using PACHOM's own RF high technology method to limit the risks of false alarms. The UBEP-C includes a powerful and flexible processor that allows the management of conditions of risks of accidents taking for account that workers do need to work around machinery without provoking excessive alerts that would hinder the efficiency of any such system. It also includes an embedded industrial camera that is synchronized with activities of safety concerns.

Additional detection PACHOM devices and sensors maybe networked together with each UBEP-C for enhanced coverage and risk condition management to optimize the performance of the system. Multiple UBEP-C may also be connected to a single monitoring station / operator's cabin.

PACHOM UCP

The UCP is a wireless installation and field application engineering tool to program, test, calibrate the UBEP-C and individual PACHOM main devices to build-in or adapt operational requirements to the PACHOM system.

PACHOM was designed to be both, factory ready for standard safety applications and highly configurable to adapt to specific machinery and/or operational requirements with the constant obsession to limit alarms as much as possible and allow it to focus on true cases of high risks with low risks of false alarms and minimum annoyances to operators, pedestrian workers and operations.

The UCP can keep configurations in memory, is portable has full bi-directional communication scheme with all main PACHOM devices, including upload and download of configuration, duplication, testing, calibration functions. Its wireless capabilities allows it to work with devices that are physically difficult to access after installation (not reachable physically), it scans the local area and lists devices available for ease of synchronization with device identification confirmation.

The PACHOM bracelet is at the core of the PACHOM system, it is the warning & alert system for workers.

The UPI has built-in intelligence allowing it to analyse the active zone parameters form UBEP-C & Nodes and react accordingly.

It offers the best method to alerting workers or warning them for immediate attention by means of vibration felt on the skin. Alert vibration is up to 8 times the vibration of a mobile phone and intended to provoque a reflex to the worker for fast reaction.

The warning is much softer and intended to bring attention to the worker of changes in its immediate environment, awareness being a key prevention method. It is designed not to be annoying to workers and quite comfortable.

The UPI is design to function in harsh environment, is water proof with wireless charging.

The LED color confirms to users that the UPI is charged enough for 1 full shift (19 hours) or 2 full shifts (over 20 hours) of operation.

UPI - MULTI CHARGER

Many operators will prefer to manage UPI bracelets at the work site.

For convenience, this multi-charger cabinet can store, charge and keep charged up to 30 UPI bracelets per cabinet.

The UPI Multi-Charger can stand alone on a desk and other flat surface  or be wall mounted.

UBEP TAG

The PACHOM TAG is destined to machinery and site (work site) implementations.

It has a similar function as the UPI, in essence, it is a UPI for machinery so machinery are also protected and for complex site implementation to protect specific area, to complete a full site configuration that will include all PACHOM products and as a relay trigger to the UBEP.

For instance, machinery maybe equiped with both a UBEP and a TAG thus providing machine to machine collision prevention.

Another instance, a PACHOM TAG maybe use to react on the approach of a machinery on one side of a wall, connected to a UBEP installed on the opposite side of the wall that would be triggered by the TAG and "porting" machinery signal over a wall or metal structure so that a worker on the other side, would be alerted in case of risk.
